Multi Sector SAA (M-SAA)
Ontario's LHINs are required under the Local Health Services Integration Act, 2006, to negotiate, and maintain, service accountability agreements with health service providers they fund. The current Multi-Sector Service Accountability Agreements, or M-SAAs, are in effect from April 1, 2014 to March 31, 2017. Each MSAA establishes the funding and service relationship between the North East LHIN and Community Health Centres (CHCs), the Community Care Access Centre (CCAC), Community Mental Health and Addictions (CMH&A) providers, and Community Support Service (CSS) agencies.
Acknowledgement of NE LHIN support as per M-SAA
Health service providers who have recently, or are in the process of, negotiating a Multi-Sector Service Agreement (M-SAA) with the NE LHIN are aware of Article 9 within the agreement which stipulates acknowledgement of NE LHIN support in future publications.
