Timmins Francophone Primary Care Collaborative Committee

The North East Local Health Integration Network (NE LHIN) values its work with its partners to drive system quality, enhance the patient experience, and improve population health while recognizing cultural diversity particularly for Francophone and Indigenous people living in Northeastern Ontario.

With this work in mind, a Timmins Francophone Primary Care Collaborative Committee (Collaborative Committee) has been established as an advisory committee for the North East LHIN. The Collaborative Committee has been established to review the recommendations outlined in a report titled « Examen des services de soins primaires destinés aux francophones de Timmins », among other reports, and to help inform the development of a plan of action focused on improving the provision of primary care services for Francophones living in the City of Timmins. The Collaborative Committee provides advice on how the NE LHIN might implement legislative changes that will impact the primary care landscape in the Province of Ontario.
